About Us

In the fall of 2006, King of Glory parish was established. We began to gather in rented halls throughout the city, first in FIU, at a university hall, & then in several hotel conference rooms. In those first two years the parish grew to about fifteen households. Our parish continues to grow steadily; we now have over 25 households and are growing. In 2008 we found a home; a church building owned by Grace Lutheran church in Miami Springs, they opened their doors to us and made it possible for us to have a permanent home. We now gather in a beautiful stone building, to teach, encourage, and explain the faith, but most importantly to worship the Triune God, in whom live daily.

Our story is born out of the content of our faith, and the power of our practices. Our story is nothing less than that of individual lives and corporately experiencing what occurs when we who live in the 21st century, enter into the Holy Apostolic Tradition of first millennium. Time after time, we are told by those who join us that our ancient apostolic faith has transformed their Christianity from a life of thoughts about God, into an actual life with God. The difference between the two is subtle, but the effects are huge. It is the difference that exists between knowing about Christ-likeness and being transformed into Christ-likeness. It is this story of transformation that has encouraged us to look at the future with confidence. We trust that the Lord will continue to bless our work in this parish, add to our numbers, and multiply our ministry opportunities to our community. We invite you to become part of this story.
